I was on the road and driving behind a vehicle with a license plate that said something like “NLY 1WAY.” I stayed behind them for another 10-15 minutes writing this song and singing it into my phone, and completely finished it right then. I just flat out disagreed with that plate’s message, and the key line in this song is “There are more ways than there are stars in space.”

This is the most important song on the album to me. It’s where the title of the EP comes from. “Could you ever love someone so much that you’d let them go?” It’s funny, my last album was called Attention because my wife Kaetlyn and I realized it was just another term for love. And I feel the same way about this title - Letting go is another term for love. At least it is to me at this moment in my life.

This song was selected as a semifinalist in the 2024 International Songwriting Competition.
